My fiancé works every single day remodeling homes. He is constantly on his knees, getting up and down, etc. He’s had some pretty severe knee pain for a while, but braces seem to help a lot. We have tried many different kinds. Some are okay, some are terrible. This one has been the best! The placement of the adjustable straps gives so much relief for him. I just ordered a second one because the area where the straps meet at the top came apart. For the price, lasting only a couple/few months is totally worth it. Again, the conditions he puts this brace in are rough so for another person using it maybe just during sports or exercise, I bet it would last a very long time. You won’t be disappointed with this! Oh, there is an odd smell at first but it goes away quickly... They seem to last him about three months or so. The one we bought in June is still working well but stretching a bit. I just want to get another few now to have ready because it seems fairly accurate to get about three months use out of them for him. We throw it in the wash periodically and it holds up to that and also helps to tighten it a little after it goes through the dryer. Again, for the price I have zero issue ordering a new one every few months. I’m just going to keep a supply of extras on hand. This brace provides a lot of comfort for him. Using the washer and dryer may also make them wear out faster but we don’t mind. He sweats a lot and wears them daily so washing is necessary.
I have severe knee pain that prevents me from standing more than ten minutes let alone walking any distance. These knee braces are the complete answer and I would pay double for them they are that good.First, the straps are wide which provides greater amount of compression in the most painful areas of your knees. This important because you need the ability to provide the maximum pressure to the most painful areas of your knees.Second, the box showing the straps crisscrossing and end up attaching to a fuzzy pad at the top. If that works for you great. However, I have gained far greater support and pain relief by placing my right strap around the left side and middle of the knee and the left straps around the right side and middle of my knee. They do not end up at the top of braces and stay in place because velcro straps will attach to any part of the sleeve. COMPRESSION TO THE RIGHT PLACES IS THE KEY TO REDUCING AND EVEN ELIMINATING PAIN WITH THESE BRACES.Finally, it is made of a breathable fabric which provides comfort and venting of sweat. I handwash them with a bit of dish soap.
I had been hoping to find something to help stabilize my knees well enough that I could get back to my active lifestyle. I think this may be the one!! At first I wasn't sure about these because they felt too tight, and I wasn't convinced they would stay in place. But...I strapped them up, and bounded down the stairs like I haven't in years. My goal was to see if they would help my knees while I tried to cut the grass with our pushmower on our uneven, rocky, sloped yard. I had went out earlier without the braces, just to pick up branches from the yard and my knees were already starting to ache. I struggled pushing that mower on that hill for an hour...pushing, pulling, locking me knees and digging my heels in, trying to keep the mower from sliding downhill etc...to my surprise, I never felt even the slightest pain the entire time! These things work! Will I be able to play basketball next? I might be willing to give it a try! These are totally worth the money. Yes, it's true the velcro pad will pull up the fabric if you let it touch, but that's not a big deal to me. You can learn to avoid doing that by simply folding the pad over on itself when you unwrap it. Even if you destroy it over a few months, the cost is minimal, just order another. For people who find it doesn't stay in place...you may need a bigger size, which could be an issue. I'm probably 30 pounds overweight and I have to wear an xxl. So if you are a much bigger person than me, I can see the limited sizes being a problem. I wish they made them larger in general.
Bought these knee Brace for hubby. It's been difficult for him to go up the stairs after his accident two years ago. Although, he does his therapy he has his days when the pain and stiffness is to much. I was happy when he told me that they feel good around his knees. The support with the brace is just what he needed to make it through a 12 hour shift. Standing too long or even when he needs to stock up the shelfs. His knees always serve as a constant reminder of his accident. Now, it's been a few days and his puts them on and goes to work. He feels the difference and has little pain to none. The flexibility and the Kriss Kross band serves as a support that gives him confidence with both knees that he won't fall. Quality of the knee Brace in my husband words 100% does the job.
I really love this. It felt so good on my left knee that I got a second one for my less painful right knee. I read a review that said the Velcro grabs too tightly, and I agree. It caused pills and fuzziness just from normal use, and the straps tend to grab onto each especially when you take it off or are putting it on. But I simply removed the straps by snipping the threads that held them on and ran a de-piller over the material ...... and now I am totally happy. The braces stay up just fine without the straps, but I am not a runner so I cannot say if that would be true for someone who moves more energetically than normal day to day walking around. I got a medium size the first time, and the top rolls down a bit, so I bought a large for my second one, but I am still happily using both of them..
This knee knee sleeve is very comfortable for my entire shift. I work 12 hours often on my feet for most those hours. It provides excellent support and the straps allow me to adjust for exactly where I need the support and how tight I want it.Prior to making this purchase my knee felt like something under my knee cap was torn. The pain made it difficult to perform my duties at work and forget about taking the stairs! Now I’m fully functional and my knee also feels better after a few months of using it when I will be active.
Does exactly what it says. I have been a runner for years and I still like run on the treadmill at the gym. Around my patella(kneecap) was feeling sore. But I wrapped this tightly around as the instructions say to,do and it helped put good pressure so I,didnt hurt when running. I am 5' 4" and 124 pounds and I got a medium and it fits good..
I am 5'9" tall with kinda muscular legs for a female. I got XXL and it barely fits with the straps but it is a perfect fit for my dad who is 6' and not as muscular. I would recommend it for support and it is comfortable even though it is tight. I do have fluid on my knee so take that into consideration. Fits my other knee much better. Have no issues with it rolling down but again just measure and you will love it.
These are great. Got a second one so i have one for each knee doing weighted squats. Easy on and off and customizable tightness with bands. I find that with this one for some reason the crossing of the bands behind my knee is noticeable when bending but my other doesn't. it doesn't affect the performance. Would recommend these 100%
I am 5 foot 3 and 260 pounds. I did the ordering measurement. I think it would work well for someone taller - well, even average height. So consequentially, I am returning. But being a shorter size is not a product flaw just a word to people with my size ratio. The wrap around part was way to tight. I do not think that is height related. It is a light weight product. It will not stand up to extended or long time use but looks to be good for specific things like a workout or game. The product is fine for what it is just thought I'd weigh in on expectations. It is not for all day or treatment type use. Thrilled to see plus sized addressed. How are we supposed to stay active if products are not available?
I ordered the medium. I'm 125lbs and it fits very snugly and doesn't shift. Over long periods of wearing I do notice a small bit of rolling along the top edge however its not annoying and I roll it back up and it stays. I needed it simply for additional support while working out at the gym and it works exactly as needed. Great product. I've washed it several times and haven't had any issues with fraying or deterioration. I attached the Velcro straps when washing and haven't had any issues. I recommend for anyone looking for a bit more knee support.
After a partial ACL Tear my doctors gave me 2 different braces that were uncomfortable and caused me more harm than good. One of those braces was 60$ and the other 100$. This brace was far more practical and effective. It kept my Tibia and Fibia from translating forward while I walked and sat down at work. Its easy to remove when I need to ice my knee. Best of all, I can wear it under my clothes and still look professional at work.
best knee support that I have ever used compared with other ones that doctors recommended. fit my knee nice and tight, and straps the best since give me an other extra support. only problem I fund is that doesn't comes with instruction of how to used it. I get it!! is a no brainer just look at the picture but I will love to see an picture in the bag.I'm looking forward to buy the ankle support.
I have been recently diagnosed with lymphedema after bilateral knee replacement surgery. I was having a hard time finding a compression sleeve that would stay up. These went above and beyond what I expected. Not only do they stay up but they are not too tight but tight enough. They are sizing chart is perfect. I will be ordering a second pair shortly. Thank you very much for a wonderful product.
I have a very arthritic knee from a break when I was a kid. Spring and Fall it acts up something awful and I get a brace yearly. Ive tried many. A lot of yjem after about 4-6 hours make my knee feel WORSE. Or they slide down causing me to constantly adjust. I get annoyed and just take it off. This is a great brace. It's long. This helps it to stay up as the motion of the knee doesn't make it shift as much. It also has a cross strap that helps it stay up. I had it on 8 hours today and forgot it was even there. It's very comfortable. It helped that achey pain.My concern is sizing. Mine fits fine. I got the medium. I usually take a small in eveything. 5,6 125 lbs. the med JUST fits. I can JUST attach the cross strap wihj NO room to spare. This isn't an issue for ME, but when ordering keep this in mind. These run small. You def mihjt want to size up.
With a tear in my knee that isn't bad enough to warrant surgery, this is a big deal. I refuse to give up my exercise routine for something that isn't going to go away even if I do, so I needed to find something that allowed me to continue. I tried several knee braces with little success due to not performing or so uncomfortable I knew I wouldn't wear them. And then I found this one. THE BEST! It has the feel of the compression sleeve plus the crossing bands feel like the tape the physical therapist used to apply. Based on how inexpensive it is, this product is proof cost doesn't always reflect worth. I'm a walking advertisement because when people ask I tell them how great it is. 100% glad I found it and tried it. Won't consider using anything else now.
I tore a meniscus years ago, and have avoided surgery on it. Now, more than 40 years later, I have some pain in my knee, especially with any lateral torque. I have tried many different knee braces; mostly they either cut off circulation or slip down. I tried this brace and I like it. I feel it gives my knee the support it needs laterally so I can walk and attend Silver Sneakers classes without worrying about torqueing my knee. It does not cut off my circulation, and doesn't slip down. I can adjust the lateral support to the location and tension I need for my knee. I have suggested it to another Silver Sneaker parlticipant that has a similar problem. Very satisfied with this product.
This compression sleeve is great. I love the straps that wrap around and give added support. The little square that the velcro is supposed to adhere to at the top of the sleeve has come loose at one corner. That makes me think the entire square will eventually fall off completely. I have also noticed that when the velcro from the straps touches anything but that square, it damages the material of the sleeve itself (if you are not exact in your placement of the straps). I've had the sleeve for two weeks and I work out six days a week.
Only had a couple of days use but if you have knee pain you know immediately if something works or not; this works. I have tried a variety of compression sleeves and braces gradually needing more and more support. This brace is comfortable enough to wear all day but it does bunch up behind the knee. The complaint in the negative reviews must have been addressed by the manufacturer because the product I received had none of them.Works for me and my knee:) Thanks.
After a bad car accident in 2015, years of being over 200lbs and loosing the weight and arthritis I realized I needed an everyday wear knee brace for support. This brace is perfect for all of my needs. It's very light weight and breathable. So important for summer time down here in Florida. You slide it on easily likecan open ended sock. On the back, it has long adjustable Velcro straps. This allows you to adjust the tightness to give to as little or much support as needed without any uncomfortable plastic inserts or metal ribbing. Easy to care for. I throw it in with a load of towels and let it air dry. No worries about it getting sweaty and stinky. You can even keep it on while swimming!
I have arthritis in my right knee that gives me pain the longer I am on my feet. This brace gives me great support and prevents the pain. I would suggest getting them a size larger than you might think you need, the straps will tighten them to the proper support level. I am very happy with this product.
I have now worn this at least a dozen times for 2-3 mile speed walking workouts. It is very comfortable and does a great job in keeping my knee restrained without over compressing...my knee still works as intended. Two comments: 1. Fold the Velcro tabs back on the straps when not in use as they tend to cause the main compression tube material to fuzz up if they adhere to it. 2. I'm wearing the largest size and find there is a slight tendency for the sleeve to ride down my leg while working out, but not enough to affect the intended result or support. The manufacturer could solve this by adding some additional rubberized material to the top band to better grip the leg. Overall - awesome job and great price. Will definitely replace this with the same model in the future.
This product protects and secures the knee as described. The Velcro straps adds an additional stabilizing factor for side to side movement. I have only two small issues with the unit. The straps are just long enough to secure them, wish they were a bit longer. The top portion of the brace tends to roll over onto itself after wearing it for a while. I actually reversed the brace and that seemed to help with both of these issues. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone that needs additional support for their knees,
I really like this brace. I call it a compression plus because of the kneecap stabilizing straps. It fits snugly which is how it should fit. The straps do a great job in helping provide support and secure your knee cap from moving around too much if you have stability issues. It's not a panacea but if you have mild stability issues, this might work for you. It did for me. I'm a runner and had some (mild) knee pain due to a fall and used this to help get me through the rehabilitation phase where I cut back my mileage. The straps attach to the top part of the brace (on your quad) via velcro which you can see from the pictures. I wish the velcro piece that sits on the quad was longer so that you could adjust it as necessary to better fit your leg. It might be a problem if you have super skinny legs or something but it fit me just fine. I wanted to tighten it a bit more and couldn't but it was fine.I'm not a medical doctor, but I don't think this is for serious knee issues. I think this is for the sort of "growing pains", occasional tweaks, and perhaps extra security after you've recovered from knee injuries type thing. I'd see a physician if you're in real pain, heard a pop, or something serious like that. That's just my opinion though. It does it's job well and helped get me through my issues. Your miles may vary.
Let me start off by saying that I am sure you can find a higher quality knee sleeve for a lot more money. However, this knee sleeve is a great sleeve for the price. I have read from other reviews that the section you attach the velcro to can become unstitched and peel up. There's an easy fix for this, put a few more stitches back on the pad. You have to know that pressure on this pad it may eventually come up a bit, but that's only because the velcro attaches so securely. My son has had one of these he wears from pressure on a knee from swimming, he raves about it. I ordered one and wore it on an 18 mile day hike. I have to tell you, this is the first time in years that I haven't had knee pain from a hike. Every hike I have been on over the past several years has left me with knee pain and IT band irritation. Not this time, and I am positive it is because of this brace. It does offer more support than your typical pull on sleeve. The wrap around bands add a lot of additional support and you can attach them to any part of the brace, not just the area at the top where the velcro attachment is. I wear this brace quite a bit, obviously when I hike, but also when I go jogging. It doesn't feel as bulky as the neoprene braces I have tried out in the past. For $10 I don't expect this brace to last indefinitely, and at that price I can afford to buy a new one every year or two. Try this out and and I doubt you will be disappointed.
Great product. My husband is a local truck driver, but he is clutching 12-15 hours a day in his truck. He comes home with a swollen ankle and sore knee. Bought this product along with compress socks. Much better!! He comes home with less pain and almost no swelling depending on the length of the day. He is tall with slim legs..17 1/2 in thigh, and 14 in lower leg. I bought a medium and it fits great.
I don't underdtand the negative reviews. I bought these on Nov 9, 2018, and have worn them 3X a week playing racquetball. No rips or other problems, I'm about to order another so I can rotate for washing them. Works as a great support for the knees. I'm 70+ and it keeps me comfortable and secure as a way to prevent injury. Not sure if it would be enough support if you have a prior knee injury, but it is a good support for active sports. I like the adjustable straps, so you can make it as tight as you
After military service I have two bad knees. I started with just one of these then eventually got another. They help me get through walks and work outs or just busy days house cleaning. Without them my knees would be easily irritated, swell, and keep me up at night. I can honestly say they a big help, the support wraps work great for my injury and the pressure helps with/and prevents swelling. I only wear them for these purposes. They are not suitable for long term wear because they do roll a bit which makes them pinch the back of my knees occasionally, but they still help where needed.
This is the second purchase. I have been wearing this sleeve for 1 1/2 months. I gave it a five star review for comfort and support. I am 63 years old and have arthritic knees. First the cons-The little green band at the top rolls down and the velcro square at the top could be wider so the straps can be adjusted for a looser fit. That being said, i decided to ignore the velcro and attached it wherever i need to for comfort and support. Pros- its thin so it’s less noticeable under pants. It keeps my knees warm, more flexible than the thicker sleeves I've used in the past and the straps give good support and compression on the back of my knees. It also doesn’t fatigue my knees after long wear. The cost is great for the value.
This is the tightest knee brace I've ever used. It is impressively secure, and doesn't feel like it would slide down my knee. I wanna loosen up the straps a bit, but this pressure feels so good like a massage. I'm doing home remodeling, so I will keep it on the rest of the day to see how it feels and behaves. But first impression is very secure and very tight. I bought a large. I'm a normal height and got that beer belly to burn off. So I can't wait to do a long walk this evening.
This knee brace worked well and provided enough support for me to run with little to no pain. I have an old ACL, MCL and maniscus injury that causes pain and discomfort when i run. This brace did offer enough support to greatly mitigate that discomfort and pain. The only negative was that it bunches up when I run. Not enough to lessen the support but enough to catch my attention periodically during my run. Great for the price though and I will definitely buy it again. Durability is decent so far....used it about 20 times, washed it about 5 times. No issues!
My oldest daughter twisted her knee at work. She bought one from her work and it is not doing the job it needed to. I ran to and got her one. This one is amazing. It keeps her knee supported the way it needs to be to mend. It is made of high quality spandex and nylon. So its breathable and stretchable. The material is soft to the touch. This is adjustable to fit any size of leg (use sizing chart) it wraps around the back of the knee and has straps to adjust to the front keeping your knee in place. It has a nice compression feel to it and comfortable to wear. My daughter says she doesnt even notice wearing it.
Comfortable, and provides pretty good support. I dinged them a star because of the design. As you can see in the pic, the Velcro section where you attach the straps isn't big enough to attach both straps without overlapping, which is less secure and leaves one side loose. If you back them off a bit, the strap will stick to the non-velcro part of the brace, but then it starts pulling at the fabric. I am concerned that this is going to cause fraying, because it already has started.
Helped knees, but bunches up behind knees when in a squat position. I have to bend down a lot at work and stay in squat for 5 minutes at a time. Causes major pain and creases behind knew when in squat. After 8 hour shift with them on, cause more pain in knees than without them. Best for only an hour or two use. Good for that.
This brace is AMAZING! I have worn it EVERY day for approx 13 hrs a day since May 13th. I have a torn meniscus and when I'm not wearing this brace its sooo much harder to walk, get up and just live. The velcro is coming unattached from the top but that can be fixed easily. For the price and this being the 3rd brace I've tried, I will get another one when this one wears out
I received my support sleeves and I like them, it looks good and provides good support. I bought two for playing soccer, and I have only used them once therefore I can't tell how long they will last but so far I'm very pleased. I think I may reinforce the sewing of the straps. Very comfortable and flexible with good support by the sleeve and straps. At less than $10 each, no complaints. Looking forward to playing more soccer.
I use it daily and since there is no silicone dots or rings on the thigh portion (to keep it from slipping down the thigh) I didn't have to modify it by cutting away the silicone. Having the wrap portion sewn onto the sleeve keeps it in one piece when taking it off and washing it. It's thin enough to wear under my uniform pants as opposed to the other wraps with hinges.
My husband says it makes his knee much more comfortable and feels more stable. The only problem is wrapping the straps. We had to try several different ways before we hit on one that works. It almost seems like the straps are on the wrong end of the brace. It would have been nice to have a picture of the correct way to run the straps, otherwise we are very pleased with the product.
I recently sprained my knee -- which was really crimping my FitBit averages, not to mention causing considerable pain. I couldn't handle stairs; and just walking was painful. I had some "old" knee braces, but they were stretched out and didn't help. I also ordered another new brace that was very good; but this was my quick favorite!! Great support!! I was back on the stairs quickly; and the pain subsided within a week and I was back up to my former averages on steps and stairs -- I largely credit this brace!!
